How do I exclude my course syllabi from being viewed in Syllabus @ Yale?

All syllabi are collected from Canvas to be included in Syllabus @ Yale, however instructors can choose to have their syllabus content hidden from view ahead of collection into Syllabus @ Yale by following the instructions below.

Law School Syllabi

At this time, Yale Law School syllabi and syllabus artifacts are hidden in the Syllabus @ Yale tool by default and no action needs to be taken on the instructor’s part.

Hide Syllabus from View Ahead of Collection

Change your Canvas course settings to change visibility
  1. Navigate to your Canvas course site and click the “Settings” button at the bottom of your Course Navigation menu.
  2. Scroll down to the “Visibility” section.
  3. Change the “Syllabus” visibility from Institution to Course.
  4. When done, click the “Update Course Details” button.

Syllabi can be hidden from the broader Yale community after they have been collected into Syllabus @ Yale by completing our form.
