Uploading New Syllabi to Syllabus @ Yale

As a Syllabus @ Yale admin, you may need to manually upload syllabus items from your department’s historical records to the Syllabus @ Yale repository. You will only be able to upload materials to the school document types you are an admin of in the system. 

  1. Click the 9-dot waffle icon in the top-left corner of the Syllabus @ Yale tool to open the Main Menu. From the menu, select the “Import Document” option.
  1. Click the “Choose File” button to find and select the syllabus file you are uploading.
    1. Upload .pdf or .doc file. 
  2. Select your “Document Types,” which is the kind of syllabus file this is:
    1. Select from the visible document type or the Hidden repository option.
  3. Select your “File Type” if not automatically detected.
  4. Fill in the Keywords. Manually type the correct information into the applicable fields OR click the key icon to launch the Keyset Lookup to auto-fill in these fields.
    1. CRN_Term is a required field. Ex: 12312_202103
    2. Academic Term is also a required field.
  5. Click the “Import” button when finished.
