As a Syllabus @ Yale admin, you may need to manually upload syllabus items from your department’s historical records to the Syllabus @ Yale repository. You will only be able to upload materials to the school document types you are an admin of in the system.
- Click the 9-dot waffle icon in the top-left corner of the Syllabus @ Yale tool to open the Main Menu. From the menu, select the “Import Document” option.
- Click the “Choose File” button to find and select the syllabus file you are uploading.
- Upload .pdf or .doc file.
- Select your “Document Types,” which is the kind of syllabus file this is:
- Select from the visible document type or the Hidden repository option.
- Select your “File Type” if not automatically detected.
- Fill in the Keywords. Manually type the correct information into the applicable fields OR click the key icon to launch the Keyset Lookup to auto-fill in these fields.
- CRN_Term is a required field. Ex: 12312_202103
- Academic Term is also a required field.
- Click the “Import” button when finished.
