Downloading a Syllabus

Syllabus @ Yale contains either PDF or Word file copies of syllabi, which changes the process slightly for downloading a copy. All syllabus files are converted to PDF when downloaded.

Downloaded syllabi through the Syllabus @ Yale tool are not to be distributed outside of the Yale Community. 

Download a PDF File

  1. On a syllabus item you want to download, click the “Download” button in the PDF viewer ribbon.
  2. A system window will open where you can select the name and location of the PDF file you download to your computer.

Download a Word File

  1. On a syllabus item you want to download, click the “Print” button in the MS Word preview viewer ribbon.
  2. A pop-up will appear prompting you to open a generated PDF version of the Word file downloaded.
  3. A new window will open in the browser with the PDF version of the syllabus. From here, save the PDF to your device.
